Watch Out for Google!

GOOGLE MOBILE BUSINESS TO GROW 80% IN 2012 According to internet analyst, Google’s revenue is expected to increase from 2.5 million in 2011 to 4.5 million in 2012. This assumption is made from the fact that Google is presently seeing more than 850, 000 Android activities a day. Another cause for the increase is that fact that there are more than 300 million android smartphones on the market. Experts Andy Rubin, Google senior vice president of mobile and digital content, said at Mobile World Congress this week that, “Google was seeing 850,000 Android activations each day. There are some 300 million Android smartphones in the market”, he added. Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster said, “this kind of volume momentum could help mobile account for 10 percent of Google's gross sales in 2012, up from 7 percent in 2011”. Munster further believes 50 percent of Google's total mobile sales will come from Android handsets, up from 30 percent in 2011. Average revenue per Android device will rise from $5 last year to $6.50 in 2012 as a result, he wrote. The number of tablets and smart phones on the market has significantly increased because of the features that Google has added to suit consumer needs. The cost-per-click feature on smart phones and tablets are considerably lower and easier to use than desktop PCs. Additionally the rates of the cost-per-click is also cheaper on the tablets and smartphones are cheaper than those on the desktop PCs. This makes tablets and smart phones a more desirable device to use. The innovative features on these devices produced by Google give their products a competitive edge and a level of uniqueness that enables them to stand out in the market place. The demand for these commodities, and Google’s responsiveness to the needs of its customers are compelling reasons why analysts believe that the company’s revenue is bound to increase this year. However the Google wallet and Google offer are the only features that are still struggling to take off separately or together, but the company intends to work vigorously to improve these features and emphasize their usage. Nonetheless they are expected to be added to the devices and the rates of cost-per-click are generally expected to increase up a notch in other to commensurate market demands. In my opinion, I can see google achieving a lot more if it continues to work and compete wholehearted with imitators and copycats. The authenticity of their products and the tenacity at which they are distributed and sold to the general public is what is really going to help Google achieve its forecast and survive in the market. http://www.eweek.com/c/a/Mobile-and-Wireless/Google-Mobile-Business-to-Grow-80-in-2012-Munster-878918/

The absence of advanced technology in underdeveloped countries has contributed to the lack of exposure of the inhabitants of these places. The lack of basic incentives, utilities, and infrastructure are all contributing factors to this problem. Proverty and illiteracy are some of the reasons technology has not advanced beyond certain cities in the West, Asia and Europe. This blog will focus on issues arising from the absence of technology in some areas of the world while other places are introduced to newer and more advanced technology every year, and some places haven't seen any technological changes at all.
